Take a Stand
Take a Stand
With this simple activity, you can help students identify a variety of ways — both large and small — that people can continue the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. by bending the moral arc of the universe toward justice. Use the Take a Stand Mountain, Slide 1 to create a class list of ways that students could have an impact. If your class gets stuck, there are ideas on Slide 2 to help you get going. Then, print Slide 3 and challenge your students: how big of a step can they take to make a difference in our world?
Awesome…it’s what you do!!!
