Scrambled Civil Rights Timeline
Scrambled Civil Rights Timeline
Dr. King was a big part of the long story of Civil Rights in the United States. Help students understand that history as they work to unscramble a timeline and identify when certain key events took place.
First, have students make a copy of the Scrambled Civil Rights Timeline Slides (must be signed into a Google account). Then, have them click and drag the events to the correct dates. When they are all in the same place, the boxes will become the same color. Finally, have them reflect on the story the timeline tells them by completing the Scrambled Civil Rights Timeline Reflection Sheet (Answer Key). When students are done, discuss your answers as a class!
